Max had a lot of hair to remove. His hair was also hard to comb in the back since he always accumulates food back their.
Max was surprisingly good while getting his first hair cut. Luckely it only took about 5 minutes. Most of his curls were removed but not all. We (Mom) decided to not cut all the curls off the back.

On our visit to Califorinia we took our usual tour of the UC Berkeley campus and downtown district. Here’s Max and Mom in front of the Sather Tower, a central landmark on campus. We all (Max, Mom, Dad, Grammy, Grandpop, Aunt Kristy, and Cousin Autumn) traveled up the tower (by elevator) where we had a great view of the entire campus, downtown San Francisco and Oakland (including the hospital Aunt Kristy works in).
Max is overwhelmed by the selection of things to protest on the Berkley campus. He couldn’t really make up his mind at the time.
Max changes his mind and decides to demonstrate in his own little silent protest. We’re not sure what he was protesting but it was probably walking around too much.

Dad rented a bike and road from downtown San Francisco to Sausalito. Luckily they put this bridge between the two cities or he wouldn’t have been able to complete the ride. The ride took longer than expected since he had to repair a flat tire. After replacing the tube with a faulty one and applying three patches, the tire still wouldn’t take any air. Dad eventually road back to his car on a flat tire (easier then you think really).
A kind tourist took this picture of Dad from the first bridge tower.
